JORDAN ACCEPTS U.S. AID
No Support Given Eisenhower Plan
(N-Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) AMMAN, April 30. Jordan will accept America’s offer of £3,571,000 worth of aid, the American Associated Press reported today. But she has made it clear she would have nothing to do with the Eisenhower Doctrine for the Middle East. There was no indication late last night how Jordan would use the aid, the agency reported. American officials yesterday began talks with Jordan Government representatives in Amman on the spending of it.
