NEW INSPECTOR OF SCHOOLS
Mr Bernard J. Wilson, at present organising teacher with headquarters at Greymouth, has been appointed to the inspectorate and will take up his new duties next term at Invercargill. Mr Wilson was educated at Christ’s College, trained at the Christchurch Teachers’ College, and had some teaching in Southland before five years’ war service) mostly overseas. Subsequently he had charge of schools at Kowai Bush, . Broomfield, Woodbury, and Springston, before taking up his West Coast position in 1954.
