ART EXHIBITION IN PARIS

Painting By City Woman Shown Mrs Dorothy E. Robertson, of 72 Clyde road, Fendalton, has had one of her oil paintings accepted and shown in this year’s Paris Salon exhibition. The painting, “The Jewellery Counter,” was exhibited in the Canterbury Society of Arts exhibition in October last year. The painting depicts a girl holding pearls in a jewellery setting and was modelled by Miss Maureen Barnden, Christchurch. Mrs Robertson has had seven paintings accepted and exhibited in the Paris Salon exhibition in the last five years.
