Mrs Adams is to sail Appledore, in Devon, with 18 <2/ adventurers in the Agnes,?^ er cruise which will take many Pacific Islands en route? New Zealand and Australia. The Agnes is a vessel with long and varied history. She built in 1834 and has been riejJ at various times as a brigantuj schooner and ketch. She was coa. pletely rebuilt in 1904 and has in recent years been trading in wm ’ of England waters mainly wheat cargoes. The ketch which is fitted with an auxihan engine, will be carrying two ton. of food and 1000 gallons of water
