Rescues In Swiss Alps
The Easter holidays meant risking death several times for the Swiss mountain rescue pilot, Hermann Geiger, and his pupil, Fernand Martignoni, who both flew injured climbers to hospital during the week-end. Repeatedly both pilots landed their light aircraft, fitted with skis, on dangerous, deep snow high up in the alps. They rescued a total of seven injured.—Sion (Switzerland), April 23.
