Sockburn P.T.A.— The Sockburn Public School Parentteacher Association recently elected the following officers. — Patron, Mr T. W. Stephenson: president, Mr F. L. Austin: vicepresident, Mr M. A. Woodward; secretary-treasurer, Mrs M. E. Drummond; committee, Mrs E. Parloe, Mrs J. Morris, Mrs R. Page, Mrs M. M. Mulligan, Mr R. Mortimer, Mrs R. Treloar. It was decided to hold a gala in October in the school grounds.
