PRE-KINDERGARTEN EDUCATION
Lecture To Sacred Heart P.T.A. The Dominion president of the Kindergarten Association (Mrs K. McCreanor) recently lectured on child welfare and education to the Sacred Heart College ParentTeacher and Friends’ Association. Mrs McCreanor outlined education at the pre-kindergarten level. The home life of a child was the deciding factor of success, for what was instilled into a child’s mind at one year old, would only come out in knowledge at two years of age, and so on until kindergarten age. The Kindergarten Association, said Mrs McCreanor, was working to give children the required education at five years of age, and she was sure that after this lecture parents would understand the cooperation needed between teacher and parent. Mrs McCreanor who is a past pupil of the Sacred Heart College was thanked by the president of the association, Mr A. E. B. Turner.
