SECURITY GUARD ON QUEEN

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 25. The security screen which guards the Queen and Prince Philip when they travel in Britain is likely to be considerably eased, the “Daily Telegraph” reported today. The newspaper said, in a news report, that the Queen had decided to reduce the number of guards and to make visits less formal. On foreign tours, where possible, there would also be fewer guards. The extent of security measures would be decided at discussions between British security officers and their counterparts abroad.
