All-Weather Wharf Plans Sought Copies of the Bluff Harbour Board’s plans for an all-weather loading facilities will be sought by the provincial executive of the rhirth Canterbury Federated Farmers. This was decided at the executive’s meeting on Wednesday after a report on a shipping company’s proposals for ah allweather wharf at Lyttelton had been discussed.

“Bluff has an all-weather loading wharf that is the best in New Zealand but that does not mean that it is good enough,” said the president (Mr D. H. Butcher). “I have heard that the facilities at Bluff could have been better and what we want is the mdst modern methods of loading available.”

It was also decided to write to the shipping companies for copies o? their proposals.
