Supreme Court Wins Stakes (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 23. The final day of the Auckland Racing Club’s autumn meeting was held at Ellerslie today in overcast weather. The track was easy. The winning double, Baron Boissier and Runada, paid £6O 18s for £l. On-course the totalisator handled £91,390 10s, including £11,935 in doubles, against £102,788 on the third day last year. Press Association Copyright) SYDNEY, April 23 Two racehorses were killed and another injured when they were ripped from halters and hurled from a float as it somersaulted 100 feet down a cliff on the Pacific highway. The two dead horses were Double Whirl and Star Embler. One of the horses won at Newcastle yesterdav. Another was second and the third ran unplaced. They were valued at £5OOO.

Rhythmonic, winner of the Riverton Cup on Saturday, and Canon, which won the Easter Handicap on Monday, and was second in the cup, will probably be brought to Riccarton for the Sockburn Handicap. Ben Ledi, a winner against the sprinters at Riverton on Monday, is also expected to race at Riccarton on Saturday.
