Health And The Mind
Sir, —In furtherance of the truth that the human mind is the allimportant factor in disease, I have some more facts which help to prove this. I went to see the picture “Anastasia.”. A supporting picture dealt with epilepsy. It showed an adolescent girl afflicted with this disease, and the reaction of the parents whose children attended the same school. They wanted the girl removed from contact with their own children. The announcer, in fighting against this procedure, explained that the time for feeling ashamed of disease was now past. But surely this is what must be revived! When once again the true cause of disease is known, man will feel thoroughly ashamed and set in motion the new lines of thought for recovery.—Yours, etc., M. G. DAVIES. Hanmer Springs, April 20, 1957.
