Anzac Day Parades

Sir,—Anzac Day will bring special memories of comradeship tried and tested. When the acid test is on, men know that creed means nothing, and that those who died without believing Christ to be the Son of God were as worthy as the others. To express our warm gratitude to all, without any distinction, “spiritual” or otherwise, it would be fitting to divest all ceremony of any influence which says that belief is a virtue and open-mindedness a sin.—Yours, etc., A COMRADE. April 20, 1957.
