Peking’s Talks With Chiang

(Rec. 10 p.m.) TOKYO, April 23. The Chinese Communist Prime Minister (Mr Chou En-lai) was quoted today as saying that negotiations for co-operation between the Nationalist and Communist Chinese were already under way. Japanese correspondents covering the Japan Socialist Party’s Peking visit reported that the Socialist secretary-general, Mr Inejiro Asanuma, said Mr Chou had told him this at talks on Monday.
