Two Chiefs Of Staff Resign

(Rec. 10 p.m). AMMAN, April 23. A three-man Government committee will report today on their investigation into incidents in the Jordan Army last week.
Since then two Army chiefs of staff have left the country.
Major-General Ali Abu Nuwar, the man who took command of the Arab Legion last year after the dismissal of the British General, Sir John Glubb, was dismissed by King Hussein a week ago at the climax of the Jordan crisis after an abortive Army revolt.
Two days later, his successor, Major-General Ali Hiyari, resigned soon after publicly swearing his allegiance to the King. (
