Woman Injured In Collision

Mrs Edith Everest, of Greenpark, was injured in a collision between two cars at the corner of Frankleigh and Lyttelton streets, about 10.15 a.m. yesterday. She was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by a St. John Ambulance. Last evening her condition was reported to be satisfactory. Car Strikes Tree A car got out of control in shingle at -the approach to the re-cently-completed bridge in Straven road about 8 p.m. yesterday, and struck a tree. Mrs Rita Wogan, of 56 Flockton street, a passenger in the car, suffered injuries to the nose. The driver of the car, Mrs T. Edmonds, of 6 Cranmer square, was unhurt. The front of the car was badly damaged.
