BAPTIST BIBLE CLASSES
Three Camps At Easter Three Easter Bible class camps catering for both boys and girls were held by the Baptist Church at Motukarara, Glenroy and Rangiora. The camps, each attended by more than 100 young persons, were all addressed by a missionary speaker, Mr Franklin Gaze, of Hamilton, and by Mr John Beaumont. Six Bible classes camped in the show grounds at Rangiora and. although wet weather cancelled the sports meeting, the 125 campers completed the rest of their programme. The camp commandant was Mr R. H. French, and the guest speaker was the Rev. A. L. Silcock. The Glenroy camp, which had as its commandant Mr R. Clarkson. had 150 The Motukarara camp had about 180 campers under Mr Norman Thorpe. The camp parents were Mr and Mrs J. S. Winder, and the chief speaker was the Rev. Ridland Jamieson. The secretary fori the camps was Mr G. H. Reddell.
