Auckland Wins (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 22. Beating Wellington 43 to 7 today, Auckland won the Father Duffy Cup at the New Zealand Marist Rugby League tournament. Wellington beat Christchurch 15-8. and Greymouth beat Dunedin 43-10. NORTH ISLAND TEAM CHOSEN (New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON. NORTH, April 22. The following North Island Marist Rugby team was announced by the selectors, Messrs O. Lynch (Palmerston North) and J. Gillespie (Auckland), at the end of the Spillane Cup tournament in Palmerston North today : Full-back: P. Cowan (Gisborne). Three-quarters: T. Patete (Masterton), M. R. O’Connell (Wanganui), B A. Karam (Wellington). Fiveeighths: T. R. Lineen (Auckland), S. Nesbitt (Auckland). Half-back: K. R. Davis (Auckland!. Back row: J. K. Skeen (Auckland), captain. Middle row: T. Roberts (Wellington), A.
