HORSE SOCIETY’S SHOW
Wet Conditions For Easter Events
Heavy rain and a slippery ground marred the Easter jumping show of the Canterbury area of the New Zealand Horse Society at the Addington Show Grounds on Saturday. In the seven events 33 horses and 19 ponies competed. The South Island touring team which has just completed a tour of the North Island, jumped well, three of the horses—E. Uprichard’s Land Rover B. G. Rutherford’s Bomber, and W. Wadworth’s McGregor taking the major placings in most events.
