University had an easy win over Cheviot by 25 pointe to 3, in • friendly match, played at Rugoy Park yesterday. University won most of ther line-outs and rucks, and the backs, already a superb combination, had splendid opportunitiesGood tackling by the Cheviot backs and cover defence prevented many University tries. University’s points came from tries by G. Gale, J. Grocott. G. G. Loveridge, B. M. J. Dineen. J. Croucher, and M. Dunne.
