Pictavia Nigger, which was second to Bridie in the Te Mahanga Handicap at Hastings, and fifth in Saturday’s Feilding Cup, will be a strongly-fancied runner for the Waipukurau Cup, the first leg of the double at the Waipukurau Jockey Club’s autumn meeting tomorrow. The second leg is the Flying Handicap, for which Isaac Bian, Yoho, and Duplication are a likely trio. The track is in good order. Selections:— 11 a.m.—Ruataniwha Hack Hurdles: Orawai, Uawa, Judge. 11.45 a.m.—Novice Stakes—First Division: Red Moon, Salvador.
