Sir,—May I ask why the men going | or. returning from Korea are always t mentioned, but the Air Force men who < have finished their service in are never mentioned? Why the dis- < tinction? —Yours, etc., MOTHER OF TWO. 1 July 14, 1954. [This letter was referred to Air Force Headquarters, Wellington, who replied as follows: —“The New Zealand Army personnel returning from Korea are being repatriated after active service on foreign soiL The R.N.Z.A.F. men in Cyprus are serving □n a normal peace-time station, and ; would be the first to admit that their 1 overseas service is different from that of their countrymen in Korea, who are fighting against Communist aggressors.’’]
