No Faculty or Department of Rural Science at present exists In the University but the Council has decided that a Faculty will be established. The duties of the Professor will, therefore, be concerned to some extent with the establishment of new university courses dealing with the inter-relation-ships between plant husbandry and animal husbandry with special reference to pasture and crop production, managemeht and utilisation, and the physilogy, nutrition, breeding, and management of livestock.
