PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE

N.Z. Delegates Bidden Farewell (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 23. New Zealand delegates to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s conference in Nairobi next month were bidden farewell by the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) this evening at an informal function.

The four delegates, who will leave within the next few days, are Mr D. C. Kidd (Government, Waimate), who will lead the delegation, Mr G. F. Sim (Government, Waikato), Mr D. M. Rae (Government, Parnell), and Mr W. A. Hudson (Opposition, Mornington).

Mr F. Hackett (Opposition, Grey Lynn), who is also a member of the delegation, left New Zealand several weeks ago. Also attending today’s function were members of the New Zealand committee of the association and the Clerk of the House of Representatives (Mr H. N. Dollimore).
