CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The day in Christchurch yesterday was fine, with a light south- west wind'end a maximum temperature of 49.1 degrees. At midnight, the sky was clear, and I there wis no wind. The temperaI tore was 32.2 degrees. The barometer, at 29.29 inches (991.9 millibars), was falling slowly.
