ROADS TO WEST COAST
BOTH ROUTES REOPENED AFTER BLOCKAGES The Arthur’s Pass road to the West Coast, which was blocked by a heavy fall of snow on Wednesday night was, with the use of two graders, opened again about 3 p.m. yesterday. The Lewis Pass road, which was also blocked for a period on Wednesday night, was open yesterday morning.
