Australian Cabinet Reshuffle
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, July 8. A reshuffle of the Australian Cabinet was announced by the Prime Min ister (Mr Menzies) today. There is no alteration in Cabinet Ministers. The Postmaster-General (Mr Hubert Anthony) will be relieved of the post of Civil Aviation so that he can concentrate on preparation for the introduction of television. The former Minister of Social Cervices 'Mr A. Townley) becomes Minister of Air and Civil Aviation, and the former Minister of Navy and Air <Mr William McMahon) becomes Social Services Minister. The Army Minister (Mr J. Francis) will also become Minister of the Navy.
