MILITARY TALKS IN SINGAPORE
N.Z. ATTENDANCE “NOT NECESSARY” (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 7. Attendance by New Zealand representatives at the military staff talks in progress at Singapore among representatives of Australia, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States, was not necessary, said the Minister of Defence., (Mr T. L. Macdonald) today. The talks were of a routine character, and the results would be made available to the New Zealand authorities in due course, said the Minister.
