This 25-acre park located less than mile than a mile from the centre of the city, will be the most important Games site outside the main stadium, the Melbourne Cricket Ground. On the right of the picture is an enclosed swimming pool of unconventional design, in the left foreground is a cycling track enclosing a hockey field. The other grounds will be used for athletics and Association football.
