RESERVE BANK FUND

STERLING EXCHANGE AT NEW PEAK Sterling exchange, as disclosed by the Reserve Bank return as at the close of business on June 3, has risen by £2,723,000 to reach a new peak at £93,519,000. The total for the comparable week last year was £64,896,000. Together with the sterling investments of £23,716,000 the Reserve Bank’s total of sterling funds now stands at £117,235,000.
