VISIT TO N.Z. BY MR ATTLE
CABINET INVITATION ACCEPTED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 6. Mr Attlee has accepted an invitation from the New Zealand Government to visit the Dominion The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) said today that present indications were that Mr Attlee would arrive from Sydney on September. 14 and depart on September 17. The former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr H. Gaitskell, he added, was unable to accept a similar invitation, and Mr Aneurin Bevan, who was also invited, hoped to give a definite reply tomorrow. Mr Holland said he had been advised that Mrs Attlee might join her husband in Sydney. She would be equally welcome if she could make the trip.
