NEW ZEALAND RANKINGS ANNOUNCED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 6. The New Zealand champions, J. A. Barry and Miss J. E. Burke, head the 1954 New Zealand lawn tennis rankings, which were announced today by the management committee of the association. Rankings are:— Men.—i, J. A. Barry; 2, M. A. Otway; 3, R. S. McKenzie; 4, P. G. Nicholls; 5, C. Parker; 6, A S. Bums; T, P. Healey; 8, E. D. White; 9, J. McDonald, 10, I. Easton.
Women.—l, Miss J. E. Burke; 2, Miss P. Nettleton; 3, Miss R. Morrison; 4, Miss L. Luxton; 5, Miss D. King; 6, Miss S. Cox; 7, Miss E. Becroft; 8, Miss E. Meyer; 9, Miss B. Nelson; 10, Miss C. Neave.
