N.Z. TOURNEY TO BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 4 •
(P.A.) * WELLINGTON, June 28. The New Zealand Bowling Association has decided that the annual tournament will be held in Wellington, commencing on February 4. This is later than usual because of the difficulty of securing hotel accommodation in Wellington In January. CANTERBURY CLUB Prizes and trophies won during the year were presented at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Bowling Club. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—patron, Mr D. A. Summers; president, Mr F. H. Ashton; vicepresident, Mr E. Rhodes; immediate past president, Mr S. R. Johns; honorary secretary, Mr V. J. Rhodes; honorary treasurer, Mr S. G. ELMWOOD CLUB Work on the new green, which would absorb the waiting-list of new members for whom accommodation could not at present be found would start soon, stated a report presented at the annual meeting of the Elmwood Bowling Club.
