ARREST MADE

WOMAN’S DEATH AT NELSON YOUTH CHARGED WITH MURDER (P.A.) NELSON, June 27 Patrick Wilfred Hardy, aged ia single, was arrested at 5.25 p.m. to-dav and charged with the murder of Rangi Tai Otimi, a Maori woman, aged 21 in the Queen’s Gardens on the night J Thursday, June 20. The arrest was made by Detective. Sergeants J. J. Murray and N. J Me. Phee. The accused will appear in the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow morning when an application will be made for a remand to Wellington on a date yet to be fixed. Later he will be remanded to Nelson, where the case will b« heard. ' Hardy was employed as a waiter at a Nelson cafe.
