NEW WATERFRONT COMMISSION

Personnel Announced MR JUSTICE ONGLEY TO BE CHAIRMAN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 27. The personnel of the Waterfront Industry Commission set up under the waterfront Industry Emergency Regulations, 1946. gazetted to-day, is as follows: the Hon. Mr Justice Ongley. Judge of the Compensation Court (chairman), Messrs K. A. Belford, of Wellington, and G. L. Almond, of New Plymouth (nominated by the New Zea-

land Waterside Industrial Association of Employers), and Messrs H. Barnes, of Auckland, and John Flood, of Lyttelton (nominated by the New Zealand Waterside Industrial Union of Workers). The commission’s term will begin on July 1, and expire on February 29. 1948. ' Mr A. E. Bockett has been appointed general manager of the commission, and Mr W. J. Cuthbert, assistant general manager.
