LINCOLN COLLEGE BEATS H.M.N.Z.S. ACHILLES The Lincoln College first fifteen yesterday beat a team from H.M.N.Z.S. Achilles by 11-0. After 15 minutes of play, Molesworth kicked a penalty goal for Lincoln College, and shortly before half-time, Dale cut-in and opened up a forward passing rush, from which Otway scored under the posts. Molesworth converted. In the second half the naval team dominated the play, securing the ball repeatedly, but it. was unable to complete promising movements. Lincoln College developed d movement from a line-out, led by Osborne, who broke through,to the goal-line, passing to Carr, who scored, Johnson, the full-back for the Achilles side, gave an outstanding exhibition of play throughout the “game. Dr. I. p. Blair was referee.
