Wellington, and dealing with the 20 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: Situation: a aepiession in the central Tasman Sea is moving slowly eastward. Forecast to 5 p.m.: moderate to fresh north-easterly winds. Some scattered mist or drizzle on the coast at first, but weather mainly fair to cloudy. Temperatures moderate. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the Bouth Island Moderate north-easterly winds. Weather cloudy, with scattered drizzle or rain at first, but improving. Temperatures moderate, CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather was overcast yesterday, with a moderate easterly breeze. The maximum temperature was. 53.1 degrees At I o’clock this morning the sky was overcast With a light north-east breeze. The barometer was steady at 29.80 inches (1009.1 millibars).
