DUVAUCHELLE DOG TRIALS

SPECIAL AWARDS Special prizes in the Duvauchelle dog trials were awarded as follows: Novice Heading Event.—K. Mcßride (48 points) 1, D. Woodill (41) 2, W. Grant (40) 3. Most points scored at trials: R. T. Masefield. Prize for youngest competitor, given by Mrs P. Cunningham: Rex Craw. Oldest Competitor: D. McKay. At a meeting of the committee it was decided to give £3O to the Duvauchelle sub-centre of the Red Cross Society. It was also decided to thank Mr George Steele for acting as secretary on the field. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr F. W. Williams, who acted as timekeeper at the trials, was carried by members standing in silence.
