The Waimairi School Parent-Teacher Association recently held an evening social for the school. More than 100 ' vere . Pfesent. The headmaster (Mr R. Harrison) was pianist for the evening’s entertainment, which included community singing, games organised by Mr McNaughton, and a series of charades by the committee. Songs were sung by Miss Haberfield and a choir of senior girls. The president of the association (Mr C. R. Thackwell) gave an address, and a number of new members were enrolled.
