MEMBERSHIP TOTALS 840 Donations totalling £26 16s 4d had been received during the month, it was reported at a recent meeting of the Canterbury Executive of Heritage (Inc.). This amount included £9 received from Mr C. A. Inch, Te Pirita, from the proceeds of a hare drive. It was stated that 23 new members had been enrolled from the Ashburton sub-branch, bringing the total membership to 840. Included in this total were 153 life memberships. The chairman of the national executive advised that it was prepared to hold a conference about the middle of July, representatives from branches being asked to attend.
