Also a Uniform Annual Sanitation Fee of £1 9s (one pound nine shillifigs) in respett of pans contained in closets or privies upon such properties in the Borough of Kaiapoi as have a house or houses erected thereon and are liable for such fee. Also, in pursuance of a Special Order of the Waimakariri River Trust, a General Rate of 702/5000ths of a penny in the £, and on the Eyre-Cust Loan Area a rate of 202/500ths of a penny in the £, on the Capital Value of all Rateable Property within that portion of the Waimakariri River Trust District as is within the'Borough and classified in Class A of the said Trust’s classification, and that portion as is within Class A of the EyreCust Loan Area.

Also, in pursuance of a Special Order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, a General Rate of l/40th of a penny in the £ on the Capital Value of all Rateable Property within the Borough. The whole of the said Rates and Uniform Annual Sanitation Fee to be for the period Commencing Ist day of April, 1946, and ending 31st day of March, 1947, and to be payable in one sum at the office of the Kaiapoi Borough Council on the 16th day of August. 1946.
