ENGLISH TEAM’S TOUR

NO ADVICE ON POSSIBLE CANCELLATION

(F.A.) AUCKLAND, June 23. No official advice has been received by the New Zealand Rugby League about the possibility of the intended tour by the English team being cancelled. The president of the New Zealand League (Mr J. A. Redwood) emphasised the need for the tour to be made, as arrangements had been completed. He said cablegrams would be sent to the English Rugby League and to members of the team in Australia, expressing this feeling and stating that suitable travel arrangements would have to be made.
