TWO MINOR FIRES
The Christchurch Fire Brigade received two calls yesterday to minor fires, and in each case no damage was done The first was as 4.58 p.m. to an oven fire at 173 A Fendalton road, premises occupied by Barbara Turnbull and the second at 6.26 p.m. to a chimney fire at 8 McMillan avenue, Cashmere, house occupied by William Heyboun. •
