ANTI-COMMUNIST VIOLENCE
ATTACKS ON FRENCH PARTY’S PREMISES BOOKS AND PAMPHLETS BURNED IN STREET (N.Z Press Association -Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) PARIS, June 19. Shouting “Down with Thorez!” 100 demonstrators attacked French Communist Party premises last night. They smashed bookshop windows and burnt propaganda books and pamphlets in the street. Another group of \ demonstrators smashed the windows and premises of the Communist newspaper “Front National.”
