„, The , report of the master (Mr G. N. Sloan) to the : annual meeting last evening of the Christchurch Cathedral Bellringers’ Society stated that of the active membership of 12 ringers nine served overseas during the war. Dean Warren presided. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr A. D. Dunkley was passed. Mr Dunkley rang, in the only two peals ever scored at the Christchurch Cathedral, involving 5040 changes and taking three hours to perform. Officers were elected aS follows’— master, Mr N. Reeve; deputy-master, Mr G. N. Sloan; secretary and treasurer, Mr C. Sheppard; committee, Messrs Cron, C. Ward, J. Bell and B. Millar.
