Surrender of Food Coupons “There is some confusion in the minds of many persons as to whether ‘obsolete’ coupons are of any value in the Food for Britain campaign,” said the secretary of the Christchurch Famine Emergency Committee (Mr E. A. Chivers), yesterday. 'All unused coupons, even though expired, represented a saving, he said, and all coupons of which use could have been made to buy rationed goods were taken into account when assessing the extent of the public response. Expired, as well as current coupons, were countsd with the freeing of an equi-' valent amount of butter or meat for Britain.
