Eight B grade teams took part in interclub competitions for the A. R. Blank Cup during the week-end. Christchurch C beat Rangiora by 7 games to 1, at Templeton. Simpson. The fourth round of the Members’ Cup was also played during the week-end. K. F. Cochrane and L. H. Boyd tied in a novelty stroke handicap played on Saturday afternoon. Each player was given a card of instructions, which were varied and an unusual and most interesting round was enjoyed. K. F. Cochrane won after a special play-off. Best scores were: K. F. RICHMOND HILL CLUB The following is the result of a flag match played at the Richmond Hill course, Sumner, on Saturday afternoon:— Senior: F. O. Strong carried the flag to . the eighteenth green. Hayton tied for runner-up with scores of 79 (net). WAITIKIRI LADIES’ CLUB Mrs L. Stewart won the June Ladles’ Golf Union stroke match on the countback from Miss L. Harper, and Miss M. Andrews won a nine-hole match arranged for non-handicap players. RUSSLEY LADIES’ CLUB The following were the best scores in the Ladies’ Golf Union medal played by members at Russley:— Seniors.—Mrs Jinman, 101, 18—83; Miss L. Gates. 99, 15—84; Mrs F.
