Eight B grade teams took part in interclub competitions for the A. R. Blank Cup during the week-end. Christchurch C beat Rangiora by 7 games to 1, at Templeton. Results (with Christchurch names first) were:—A. C. Keel! beat R. G. Edwards, 2 and 1; M. B. Cook lost to G. Appleton, 2 up; J. McLean beat L. Ross-Smith, 6 and 5; F. Morrison beat B. W. Eder, 4 and 3; L. M. Best beat A. C. Fraser, 3 and 1; H. W. Montgomery beat J. Ramsay, 4 and 2; M. C. Tipping beat S. G. Dailey, 7 and 5; G. R. Hunter beat E. Tanner, 3 and/ 2. Russley drew with Rawhiti at Waimairi Beach. Results (Russley names first) were: J. Gabites lost to J. Davis, 1 down; H. McGavock and W. Dennis, all square; T. Lowry and C. Shaw, all square; T. Mills lost to H. Smith, 3 and 2; N. Ball beat A. Jarvis, 4 and 3; L. Blumsky beat A. Smithson, 4 and 3; W. Aitken beat J. Potts, 2 up; W. King lost to C. Wroth, 1 down.

Waimairi Beach beat Avondale B by 5J games to 2J, at Rangiora. Results (Waimairi Beach names first) were:—W. A. Caldwell beat E. A. Cleland, 6 and 4; F. Bridgens beat F. A. Smith; 4 and 2; E. Thompson halved with T. R. Condliffe; S. Morris lost to A. L. Craven, 2 down; T. de la Mare lost to T. S. Knight, 4 and 2; P. Smith beat T. G. Kennedy, 6 and 4; P. Butler beat J. Simpson. The fourth round of the Members’ Cup was also played during the week-end. K. F. Cochrane and L. H. Boyd tied in a novelty stroke handicap played on Saturday afternoon. Each player was given a card of instructions, which were varied and an unusual and most interesting round was enjoyed. K. F. Cochrane won after a special play-off. Best scores were: K. F. RICHMOND HILL CLUB The following is the result of a flag match played at the Richmond Hill course, Sumner, on Saturday afternoon:— Senior: F. O. Strong carried the flag to . the eighteenth green. Junior: H. R E. Stevens carried* the flag to the edge of the nineteenth green. RAWHITI CLUB A stroke and teams’ match played during the week-end by the Rawhiti Golf Club resulted:—J. RAWHITI LADIES’ CLUB Results of a four-ball match played by members of the Rawhiti Ladies’ Golf Club during the week-end were:—Miss R. Berry and Mrs E. W. Christiansen, 103, 25—78; Miss I. RICHMOND HILL LADIES’ CLUB The June Ladies’ Golf Union medal of the Richmond Hill Ladies’ Club was won by Miss R. Reid, with a score of 76 (net). Miss P. Chandler and Mrs E. Hayton tied for runner-up with scores of 79 (net). WAITIKIRI LADIES’ CLUB Mrs L. Stewart won the June Ladles’ Golf Union stroke match on the countback from Miss L. Harper, and Miss M. Andrews won a nine-hole match arranged for non-handicap players.
