QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be over the age of 17 years, possess good health (including weD-cared for natural teeth), and have reached a standard of education not lower than School Certificate. Applicants who expect to qualify for this or for University Entrance at end of current year should make this clear when applying, and forward the results as soon as they are available. Successful applicants will be required to enter into an agreement to serve for a minimum of 5 years from date of appointment. Student dental nurses are accommodated at hostels associated with the Training School, and -due care is given to their health and welfare. SALARY: (a) Student dental nurses receive £125 n.a. (b) On completion of training, commencing salary for a school dental nurse is £240 p.a., new scale, increasing over a period of five years to £350 p.a., new scale.
