LYTTELTON SEAT
MR E. B. E. TAYLOR NATIONAL CANDIDATE Mr E. B. E. Taylor has been selected as the National Party’s candidate for the Lyttelton seat at the General Election. The other nominees in the selection ballot were Messrs F. Coop and A. N. Stone. Mr Taylor was the National candidate at the 1943 election. LABOUR CANDIDATE FOR WAIMARINO (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 13. The selection of Mr P. Kearins, jun., of by the Waimarino Labour Representation Committee as the candidate. for the Waimarino seat was confirmed to-day by the secretary of the committee, Mr O. J. Howarth, at Taumarunyi. The nomination is subject to confirmation by the national executive, which. Mr Howarth said, would confer With the special Waimarino advisory committee.
