VIOLATION OF TRUCE ALLEGED
COMMUNIST FORCES BLAMED
(Rec. 8 p.m.) NANKING, June 9. A spokesman at Chinese Nationalist Headquarters announced that the Communists had violated the 15-day truce within three hours after it came into effect by attacking four points forming the Government’s springboard for a potential drive to Harbin. These points were Taolaichao. seven miles north of the Little Sungari river. Halahai, 40 miles west of Taolaichao. and Wukoshu. 35 miles east of the Toalai-chao-Lafa railway junction, which is 160 miles east of the Manchurian capital of Changchun. The major attacks were agahwt Lafa and Taolaichao, where fighting continues.
