(PA) NELSON, June 10. The second day of the Nelson Trotting Club’s meeting commenced in overcast weather and ram fell later in The attendance was large and tne track was slow. The totalisator handled £26,594 compared with £8305 in 1941. The total for the meeting was £56,905, compared with £16,273 five years ago. In the second division of the Waimea Handicap the placings were reversed when a protest by the connexions of Travis Boy against interference by Nyallo Scott by boring was sustained.
